![]() | For the best results, we recommend submitting vectored PDF, AI, or EPS files for your custom stickers. These file types ensure crisp, clean designs that will look sharp and professional. While we can still produce great stickers from high-resolution PNG or JPEG files, it’s important to note that images with text may appear blurry, as seen in the example to the left. To ensure the highest quality, we ask for vector files because they allow us to produce the best possible stickers. Depending on the type of sticker, we may require specific file formats, and we’ll advise you on this when necessary. Please note: if you convert a non-vector text image into a PDF, it will still be an image, not a true vector. To get the best result, this step should be done during the design process. |
![]() | We require bleed to ensure your custom stickers look perfect and avoid any unwanted white edges. Bleed is the extra area around your design that extends beyond the trim position of the print. If we don’t include bleed, our cutter might leave thin white edges around the design, which no one wants! In cases where there’s no bleed, we’ll usually adjust the cut to compensate. However, if your design or text is too close to the edge, this adjustment may not be possible, and it could risk cutting into important parts of your design. Including bleed eliminates this risk, ensuring a clean, crisp final product with no surprises. |
For the best print quality, we recommend a minimum resolution of 300 dpi for any PNG or JPEG files, and the resolution should be at the actual print size. For example, if you provide a 30mm circle at 300 dpi but later want to enlarge it, the resolution will decrease, which could impact print quality.
If you’re using EPS, AI, or Vector PDF files, these formats can generally be scaled without any loss of quality, as long as there are no embedded images (such as TFF, JPEG, or PNG) in the file. For the best results, avoid resizing images once they’ve been created.
