Meet the Founder: Paul
After 17 years with the NSW Police, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life — to step away from the badge and into the unknown. Policing was more than a job — it shaped how I see the world, taught me resilience, and grounded me in service. But over time, I felt a quiet pull toward something different — something creative, something mine.
During the long days of the COVID lockdown, I found myself diving into a new obsession: fitted caps. I was drawn to the way designs told a story, the detail in the stitching, the craft behind every piece. What started as collecting quickly turned into curiosity — how could I create something like this? That spark became a dream, and that dream became Ingked®.
Ingked is built on that same attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship that drew me to those caps in the first place. We specialise in embroidery, direct-to-garment printing, and sticker printing — helping small businesses and passionate creators bring their ideas to life through custom merch.
Before launching Ingked, I had the chance to hone my skills behind the scenes at Teachit Co, my wife’s creative business. I started as her sidekick — learning the ropes of embroidery, printing, packing, and everything in between. Those early days were invaluable, and the hands-on experience gave me the confidence to eventually build something of my own.
While Uyen still runs Teachit Co, she’s also joined Ingked as a co-founder, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner (in life and business). Together, we’re crafting something we’re proud of — creative, quality merch that helps small brands stand out without selling out.
This isn’t just merch. It’s storytelling through thread and ink — made by someone who knows what it means to start over and believes the small wins matter most.
